ALLEVIATE CHRONIC PAIN
Deep Tissue Massage is a type of therapy that focuses on realigning the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronic aches and pains and contracted areas such as stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders. DTM techniques are used to break up scar tissue and physically break down muscle "knots" or adhesion's (bands of painful, rigid tissue) that can disrupt circulation and cause pain, limited range of motion, and inflammation. The GT therapy approach allows the goals of the clinician to be accomplished in less time, and with less pressure. Release of fascial restrictions and adhesions, Separation and break down of collagen cross-links, increased blood flow to and from area, as well as, am increase in muscle recruitment are some of the things that occur with GT therapy. This is performed instrument to tissue connection. Loose articles of clothing recommended. Although its not our intention bruising may occur, varies client to client.

MYOFASCIAL CUPPING

Cupping is used for Myofascial (connective tissue) release.
